Microsoft Edge is a web browser developed by Microsoft.

Microsoft announced at the Build 2015 developer Conference in San Francisco that the new browser built into Windows 10, code-named "Project Spartan", has been officially named "Microsoft Edge" and is built into the Windows 10 version.

Function

Some functional details of the Edge browser include: support for built-in Cortana (Microsoft Xiaona) voice function; built-in reader (which can open PDF files), note-taking and sharing functions; the design is pragmatic and minimalist; and the rendering engine is called EdgeHTML.

The main function that distinguishes Edge from IE is that it will support modern browser functions, such as extensions. Microsoft showed off the extension of Edge browser for the first time on Wednesday, which also shows that Microsoft browser lags far behind its competitors' browsers Chrome and Firefox.

But Berfiore claims that Edge is very easy to build applications and extensions-a Chrome browser application that "requires little change" and can easily run on Edge with a simple fine-tuning.
