Because PL/SQL can only connect to 32-bit Oracle, it takes a little bit of trouble to connect 64-bit ones. Installing oracle client software directly is a bit of a hassle, so there are the following official methods. Use PL/SQL Developer to connect to OracleX64 version: 1. Download 32-bit Oracle InstantClient (instantclient-basic-nt-11.2.0.2.0) and expand to a directory, such as C:\ instantclient-basic-nt-11.2.0.2.0;2. Copy the tnsnames.ora of the system to this directory; 3.
