Installation and configuration of IIS under windows server 2003

Installation

First open the windows server 2003 operating system and click start-> all programs-> Control Panel-> add / remove programs

Click add / remove Windows components (A) again

When you locate and click the application server (English operating system: Application Server), click details

Select Internet Information Services (IIS) and Application Server console (English operating systems: Internet Information Services (IIS) and Application Server Console), and click the OK button

Then click next.

Click the finish button to complete the installation of IIS.

Configure IIS

Double-click start-> Administrative tools-> Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager to pop up the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager window

Click the "site" node in the list on the left, right-click and select "New"-> "site". The following figure appears and select the next step.

Enter the name of the website as website1, and click next

Select the website ip address as 192.111.111.80 (configure according to your own ip), set the port number 80, and click next.

Browse the home directory of the website, select C:/saveManCheck, and click next to finish

Select the newly created website1 and right-click the properties

Click the home directory, select the local path, click browse, select C:\ saveManCheck, execute permission to select pure script, and select App.

Select ASP.NET, select version 4.0, select application

Select the document, add the ShowTaskList.aspx under the C:/saveManCheck directory, delete the default, and select apply

Select website1, and right-click New- > Virtual Directory

Enter alias image

Click next

Click Browse, select D:/Image, and select next step

Select read permission and click next

Click finish

Select website1 and right-click to browse to see if the setting is successful.
