Personally, I feel that it is relatively simple to connect to Oracle by JDBC.

A few points to note:
1. If you cannot initialize JVM, the number of digits of your JDK version and PowerDesigner is not the same, please adjust.
2. JDBC driver jar: select the driver Jar that connects to the database in your project, and add the location of the jar to the system variable classPath.
3. Connection profile: the name of the connection is whatever you want.
4. Description: the description of the connection, which can be left empty.
5. Fill in the UserName/JDBC driver class/connecton URl correctly and click on the test link.
