Microsoft Store layout adjustment: add "Departments" drop-down menu
Microsoft Store in Windows 10 system is not only a variety of applications, users can also buy movies / TV series, hardware devices, browser extensions, e-books and fonts, and so on. To accommodate richer content and make it easier for users to discover and search, Microsoft has previously created dedicated tabs for hardware devices and Edge extensions.
for this reason, the company has added a new "Departments" drop-down menu. Windows Central is quoted as saying that Microsoft has tested it with Amax B to improve the management of Microsoft Store content. Currently exposed screenshots can be divided into four categories: software & applications, entertainment, devices and discounts.
there are five items under each category, such as Office, Windows, Edge extensions, personalized Windows and software support updates, while mixed reality, e-books and Xbox are divided into entertainment items.
