­just after the KDE team announced the KDE Plasma 5.11 desktop environment, the KDE Neon GNU/Linux distribution team announced that it was the first to adapt to Plasma 5.11 and launched KDE Neon 5.11. KDE Neon 5.11 comes pre-installed with the latest stable KDE Plasma 5.11 desktop environment by default, bringing a number of component improvements and new features, including Plasma Vault secure storage components and better support for the next generation of Wayland display servers.
