Before the official release tomorrow, Mozilla has released the download link to the Firefox 63.0 "Quantum" web browser for Linux, Mac and Linux platforms. The main new features introduced in the official version of Mozilla Firefox 63.0 include the support for WebExtensions to run as a separate process on the Linux platform, which means that the browser can reduce memory and CPU usage. In addition, the browser still has multiple tabs or windows to alert users when they try to exit.

on the Mac platform, Firefox 63.0 mainly improves fluency of use, accelerates tab switching, adds a number of options to WebGL performance preferences in multiple graphics card devices, allowing non-performance-critical applications and applet requests to integrate GPU rather than stand-alone graphics cards.

on the Windows platform, Firefox 63.0 also improves compatibility with Windows 10 systems, meaning that the Firefox theme can be adjusted according to the Dark/Light mode in the operating system. In addition, the performance of Web browsers has been significantly improved due to the use of the Clang/LLVM compiler.

on all supported platforms, Mozilla Firefox 63.0 removes the Open in Sidebar feature, adds an option in about:preferences to never check for updates, and fixes BUG where the address bar is automatically populated and bookmarked URL.
