[photo] Linux Kernel 4.13 RC6 release: official release on September 3rd
over the weekend local time, Linus Torvalds released another candidate version of the Linux Kernel 4.13 kernel. The RC5 version released last week is also less updated than the RC4 the week before last. Linus Torvalds said that the RC6 version released this week is a regular update and there have been no surprises in the development process over the past week. The RC6 version mainly adjusts the network, sound and InfiniBand drivers, as well as some architectures.
Linus Torvalds wrote in the mailing list: "things are going very smoothly and RC6 has been released as scheduled. There are no accidents during the development process. So so far, there hasn't been any accident. So we will focus on the regular version upgrade, which will release the RC7 version update next week, and the following week will be the official release of the 4.13 branch. Naturally, no accidents can be ruled out. "
so if nothing happens, the seventh candidate released next week may be the last candidate for the Linux Kernel 4.13 branch, while the final official version of Linux Kernel 4.13 will be officially released in a week's time.
