Some time ago, at the invitation of colleagues, I made a salon discussion on the professional development of software testing for the students who are currently studying.

At that time, in order to prepare the material, I made a picture and shared it with you here. Let's go into the talking mode of looking at the picture.

Generally speaking, the career development direction of testing can be roughly divided into two directions, one is technical direction, the other is management direction.

The technical direction emphasizes the promotion of personal cultivation, enduring loneliness, enduring hardship, delving into study and thinking. In a word, it is better to be happy than to be happy alone.

The management direction emphasizes the training of management coordination ability, and is more willing to deal with people than "boring" code. Unlike A Zhai, who takes the technical route, such a person's character will be more delicate and sensitive.

But please note that no matter which direction you choose, there is no doubt that you need to have a strong technical background in testing!
