­following the release of Build 15245 two weeks ago, Microsoft today released an update to Windows 10 Mobile Build 15250 for Fast channel users. This update is also part of the feature2 development branch, which means that not many new features will be added.

­Windows 10 Build 15250 version update is as follows:

­two-factor authentication: we are pleased to announce the introduction of a two-factor unlocking mechanism for the Windows 10 Mobile system. After activating two-factor unlocking, enterprises can enforce the deployment of a layer of security when accessing sensitive data through MDM policies. Once the two-factor unlock is activated, mobile phone users need to enter a digital password customized by the enterprise to unlock the phone.

­AppLocker improvements: improved UX and MDM SyncML scripts that match policies based on feedback from some users. Users can configure application restrictions through ApplicationManagement CSP or AppLocker CSP.

­improve VPN: in a modern work environment, mobility and secure access to enterprise data through VPN are also important. We have made many enhancements and improvements to the function of VPN on Windows 10 Mobile system. Major updates include

­● numerous VPN connection reliability adjustments

­● IKEv2 Sleep and Power improvements

­● VPN completes all pending operations before sleeping and disconnecting

­● automatically reconnects after waking up

­● is forced to provide for the UWP platform

­● adjusts the policy for the UWP VPN profile

­● activates MMS usage when VPN is connected
