Horizon7.1 deployment II: Horizon Composer server installation

Horizon Composer is an optional service that needs to be installed if you plan to deploy a linked clone desktop pool (which saves disk utilization by 90%).

The Sql Server2016,ip I deployed on windows2016 is X.X.X.2, and I'm building a database called Horizon Composer, and the firewall rules run TCP1433 through, and only the specified ip access is allowed.

I. configure the data source

1. First join the Horizon Composer server to the domain.

2. ODBC data source (64-bit)

3. Create a new data source

3. Give a name and enter the ip of the sql server server

4. Enter the password for the sql account

5. Select Horizon Composer database

6. The default installation is complete

II. Horizon Composer installation

1. Run VMware-viewcomposer-7.1.0-5129466.exe

2. Select the data source built in the previous step, which needs to be entered manually.

3. Default port, installation completed.
