How to delete the EFI partition of a hard disk?

Problem description

The laptop has added a block optical drive, which is ready to be formatted for storing the experimental virtual machine. It is found that there is a 200m EFI partition, which cannot be deleted directly:

Solution method

Use the diskpart command to clear from the command line, and then initialize.

Operation steps

1. Clear EFI Partition

Run cmd as an administrator

Run diskpart

Select the hard drive number where the EFI needs to be deleted: Select disk 1

Delete EFI partition: clean (Note: this hard disk data will be lost)

two。 Initialize after cleanup

Right-click Disk 1-> Initialize Disk in disk management:

If the hard disk is less than or equal to 2T, use MBR partition and GPT partition greater than 2T-> OK:

At this point, the newly added hard drive is ready for normal use:
