Exchange migrates Part7 configuration key servers across forests
This article is to configure the key server, using the software pwdmig.exe.
Generate a key file on the target domain before installing the key server
The format is as follows: you cannot use the command if you do not install ADMT
Admt key / option:create / sourcedomain: / keyfile:
Access the target domain and copy the key file to the source domain
Copy to source domain
Please note that the following operations are performed in the source domain
Install pwdmig tools in the source domain
Prepare for installation
Next step
Accept
Select the encrypted file you just copied
Installation
Default, OK
Installation completed
Restart the domain controller as required
After the restart is complete, start the key export server service
This service defaults to manual non-startup
