preparations

This tutorial is only for DellR620, R720. The raid models are LSI2008 and LSI2108.

1. View server raid information lspci -nn| grep LSI02:00.0 RAID bus controller [0104]: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS 2008 [Falcon] [1000:0073] (rev 03)

Check to see if hardware ID is on Redhat removed list

2. Download raid driver

Thanks to the elrepo team, they extracted the raid driver and packaged it publicly for everyone to use.

Find the appropriate raid driver based on your raid model.

dd-megaaid_sas-07.707.50.00-1.el8_0.elrepo.iso is used because the previous raid information is MegaRAID SAS

2.1 Put dud iso on nfs and modify kickstart
