Installation, debugging and use of ESXI6.7

1.1.The ESXI6.7 installation

Insert ESXI 6.7CD Boot CD Boot

Select the first item, enter.

Enter to continue the installation.

F11 confirm installation

Choose your own hard drive and enter

Select a language and enter English by default.

Set the password, the password must be a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols, otherwise it cannot be passed.

Press F11 to continue the installation.

Press enter to complete the installation. The system will restart automatically.

1.2.Debug ESXI system

This is the main interface of the system

Press F2 to enter edit mode (system password is required)

Enter the system editing interface.

Select the third option to configure the IP address gateway

Select the IPV4 option and enter.

Select a custom IP address, and enter to confirm after configuring the IP address.

After clicking to confirm that it has not been saved, press the ESC key. The following picture appears

After this picture appears, press the Y key to confirm the save.

Select the options shown above and press enter to enter.

Select the options on the diagram and press enter to open SSH for future maintenance.

1.3.Using ESXI 6.7

Open the web page and enter the login IP address

Enter user name and password

This takes you to the ESXI main interface, where you can set up networks, create virtual machines and storage.
