Connect the network card of the development board and the network card of the computer directly with the network cable, then start the development board, execute the command root in the hyperterminal, then execute the command: ifconfig eth0 192.168.254.14, then execute the command: ifconfig results as shown in the figure:

Configure the computer according to the network card of the development board, as shown in the figure:

Click Local connection, as shown:

Click Properties, as shown:

Then click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties, as shown in the figure:

Select "use the following IP address (S)", and then configure the IP address (I), subnet mask (U), and default gateway (D) according to the Nic configuration of the development board, as shown in the figure:

Then click OK.

Note that the firewall must be turned off, as shown in the figure:

Click Windows Firewall, as shown in the figure:

Click turn Windows Firewall on or off, as shown in the figure:

Select turn off Windows Firewall, as shown in the figure:

Click OK, and then look like the figure:

In this way, the Windows firewall is configured to turn off.

Then execute the ping 192.168.254.120 (computer's local IP) command in HyperTerminal. As shown in the figure:

Press ctrl+C to exit ping.
