Disadvantages:

Advantages:

1. Backup traffic uses FC-SAN network, which is fast and does not occupy the front-end business network.

2. The front-end server is not required to participate in the backup, which will not affect the performance of the business server.

Disadvantages:

1. All computing and storage resources need to be connected to the FC-SAN network.

2. Storage devices from different manufacturers are required to support this backup method.

Summary:

Although this backup method is the fastest.
