I. Server side

1, Install Chrony,CentOS 7 default installation

yum install chrony -y

2. Modify Chrony configuration file

vim /etc/chrony.conf

#Comment out external time server included in configuration

#server 0.centos.pool.ntp.org iburst

#server 1.centos.pool.ntp.org iburst

#server 2.centos.pool.ntp.org iburst

#server 3.centos.pool.ntp.org iburst

#Add available NTP servers, the following are Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, National Time Service Center, Aliyun public network NTP

server 202.112.10.60 iburst

server ntp.ntsc.ac.cn iburst

server ntp1.aliyun.com iburst

#Allow devices on these segments to synchronize time, comment out allow...... means allow all devices

#Allow NTP client access from local network

allow 192.168.0.0/16

3. Service settings

#Restart chronyd service

Systemctl restart chronyd

#View chronyd service status

systemctl status chronyd

#Set chronyd to boot

systemctl enable chronyd

4. View synchronization

chronyc sources -v

II. Client Settings

systemctl status chronyd

#Set chronyd to boot

systemctl enable chronyd

4. View synchronization

chronyc sources -v

PS: chrony and ntpd cannot be enabled simultaneously due to port conflict
