Common Network commands under Windows

Due to the need of work, some commands are often used in Wondows to determine the causes of network environment failures. The commonly used commands are summarized as follows (carried out at the cmd command prompt):

Ping is used to test the connectivity of the current network environment

-t: with this parameter, you can constantly ping each other's hosts, such as: ping 192.168.1.1-t

-l: you can set the size of the packet sent with this parameter, such as: ping 192.168.1.1-l 1000

Ipconfig / all view current network settings

Tracert is used for route tracking and is used to determine which node has a problem in a large network, such as tracert www.baidu.com

Nslookup domain name is used to test whether DNS can be resolved properly, such as nslookup www.baidu.com

Ipconfig / flushdns flushes DNS cache

Netstat-ano to view port statu

Telnet remote connection

Net user to view current system users

Net user username view user properties

Net use * / del clears the link to the current share
