How to hide domain name registration information

How to hide domain name registration information? Many novices are not very clear about this. In order to help you solve this problem, the following editor will explain it in detail. People with this need can come and learn. I hope you can gain something.

If the domain name hides the registration information, you can turn on "whois Protection", which will hide the personal data of domain name registrants, administrative contacts and technical contacts, including name, email address, telephone number, street address, etc.

Previously, all domain name registration information was publicly displayed. We can query the details of domain name registrant, administrative contact and technical contact, as well as domain name registrant, domain name registration time, domain name expiration time, domain name status and other information through whois.

When we want to hide some domain name registration information, we only need to enable whois protection. Domain name protection, that is, whois protection, is enabled by default for registered domain names.

Why is the domain name automatically enabled to hide registration information?

ICANN (Internet Corporation for assigned names and numbers) published the interim Specification for General Top-level Domain name Registration data (Temporary Specification for gTLD Registration Data) on May 17, 2018, requiring the registry and registrars to make necessary adjustments to the public display information of the whois query service. According to this specification, its registered domain names have been adjusted to enable "whois protection" by default, which hides the personal data of domain name registrants, administrative contacts and technical contacts, including name, email address, telephone number, street address, etc.

After the domain name hides the registration information, can I hide the registration time and expiration time of the domain name?

Domain name registration time and expiration time, domain name registrant and other information are public information and cannot be hidden. Domain name registrants and contacts all belong to personal information and can be hidden.
