CentOS6 in the kernel boot interface of boot boot, enter a key

Enter a 1, s, S or single at the end of the last line and enter into single-user mode

Using passwd, the command can change the root password, restart and enter the password to log in.

Kernel boot interface encryption uses grub-md5-crypt command and md5 encryption to generate secret key.

Modify the kernel parameter file / boot/grub/grub.conf add the password parameter to the file, specify the encryption method, and paste the newly generated secret key to the encryption mode

Restart the system, the boot interface found that the a key did not respond, the system prompted the p key to enter the password

The experiment is completed, this experiment can effectively prevent ordinary users from tampering with root passwords and improve the security of the system.
