About vmware 5.5and vmware6.0 modify vsphere client login name
When using vsphere clinet to log in to vcenter, the user name always needs to enter the domain name (administrator@vsphere.local) before logging in. How to use the user name to remove the domain name, only use the user login (administrator). The specific steps are as follows:
a. Log in to vcenter through your web client management account.
b. Click system Management in Navigator to create users in single sign on users and groups (for example: sist)
c. Add users to the administrators group
In the configuration of d.single sign on, set the vsphere.local in the identity source to the default domain.
After completing these steps, you can log in to vcenter through the user name (sist) in vsphere client without adding the domain name and password.
