After installing Xampp on Windows, you have to go to the Xampp console to start and disable services such as Apache and MySQL, but you can set Apache and other services to be installed as system services, so as to enable the service to boot automatically.

1. Find xampp-control.exe in the Xampp installation directory, right-click, and select "run as administrator".

2. After opening the control panel, we click the red cross in front of one of the services (make sure that the service is stopped and the operation cannot be completed in the running state), such as MySQL, a dialog box will pop up, as shown in the following figure:

3. Go back to the control panel of Xampp and find that the red fork has turned into a green hook, as shown in the following figure:

4. The MySQL service has been successfully installed and will start automatically the next time it boots. To verify, let's check the status of the service, as shown in the following figure:

5. The boot self-startup mode of other services such as Apache is a similar setting. Instead of repeating them one by one, you can try to try it out by yourself to see the effect.
