The method of displaying Chinese directory and file name under linux system

This article mainly explains "the method of displaying Chinese catalogue and file name under linux system". Interested friends may wish to have a look. The method introduced in this paper is simple, fast and practical. Now let the editor take you to learn "the method of displaying Chinese directories and file names under the linux system".

To choose a method once and for all is to modify the fstab file under / etc/. My fstab content is as follows:

/ dev/hda9 / ext2 defaults 1 1

/ dev/hda8 / boot ext2 defaults 1 2

None / dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0

None / proc proc defaults 0 0

None / dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0

/ dev/hda10 swap swap defaults 0 0

/ dev/cdrom / mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0

/ dev/fd0 / mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0

/ dev/hda1 / mnt/winme vfat defaults,codepage=936,iocharset=cp936 0 0

/ dev/hda5 / mnt/program vfat defaults,codepage=936,iocharset=cp936 0 0

/ dev/hda6 / mnt/backup vfat defaults,codepage=936,iocharset=cp936 0 0

/ dev/hda7 / mnt/files vfat defaults,codepage=936,iocharset=cp936 0 0

The first eight lines are already in the system. Ignore them. I added the last four lines. I will only explain one of them.

Line 9: / dev/hda1 represents system disk C (disk D is followed by 5, and hda5 represents disk D, arranged in turn)

Vfat is a partition format, which means fat32 (fat16 is represented by msdos)

Winme is the folder I created under / mnt to mount disk C to / mnt/winme.

The parameter codepage=936,iocharset=cp936 is added to display Chinese.
