How to deal with the problem of IE home page being tampered with

This problem is also sorted out on the basis of the conclusion of our predecessors and the summary of our own experience. Thank you very much for your arrangement and summary.

The home page of IE has been changed to all kinds of addresses, and there are many specific addresses, but most of the contents are summarized by all kinds of URL; although it seems to be easy to use, there is always a feeling of being "raped"

To get back to the point, the method is as follows:

Step 1: check the IE option settings and change the home page to the home page or blank page you want.

Step 2: check the registry key, mainly in three locations, as follows:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ MICROSOFT\ INTERNET EXPLORE\ MAIN

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ SOFTWARE\ MICROSOFT\ INTERNET EXPLORE\ MAIN

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ WOW6432NODE\ INTERNET EXPLORE\ MAIN

Start page, default home page,First home page and other key values under these three directories

Step 3: view system startup items and services

Through msconfig, you can check whether there are any suspicious startup items and services in the startup items and services, and you can filter and troubleshoot them one by one.

Step 4: search the registry

Search the registry globally for the domain name section of URL, find the suspicious part, and delete the key value or directory

After following the above steps, the problem of tampering with the home page of IE can be basically solved.

If there are more stubborn problems can be analyzed by grabbing the bag; if you need assistance, please leave a message.
