Before we begin, we need to make sure that the domain name we need to mix has been successfully bound to Office 365, as shown in the figure:

1. Download synchronization tools

2. Deploy the active Directory synchronization tool

Find a computer that can access the Internet and join the domain, and copy the downloaded management tools to the server.

Double-click the downloaded synchronization tool installer, and after the installation is complete, a shortcut as shown below will be generated on the desktop and will automatically jump out of the configuration wizard.

3. Configure the active Directory synchronization tool

Agree to the license agreement and click continue

According to your own needs, if you need to synchronize all OU, you can choose quick settings for all properties. If you want to perform filter synchronization, you can choose customization. I need to synchronize an OU for this piece, so I choose "Custom" for this piece.

You can choose the installation location, SQL server, service account, etc., according to your needs.

After the selection is complete, click install, and the installer will automatically install the relevant components.

Choose the user login method according to your needs. Should you use single sign-on or synchronous password, or let all users connect to the local AD for authentication?

Enter the corresponding O365 global administrator account and password, and click "next"

Select the directory type of the forest you want to synchronize, and click add Catalog

Enter the corresponding administrator account number and password

Click "next" when the configuration is complete.

After clicking "next", the program will check the architecture of the forest you selected.

Select user topic name

Select the OU you want to synchronize.

Select the unique identifier of the user

Select what to synchronize in the OU

Select the corresponding function (you can choose according to the actual situation)

After the configuration is complete, click "install".

After the configuration is completed, you can see the corresponding synchronization status on O365 after a period of time, and you can see in the active account that some accounts have been synchronized with AD.

At this point, the active Directory has completed synchronization configuration and synchronization with O365.
