Task: redirect https://mail.windows.com to https://exchcas01.windows.com/owa

First of all, we want to make sure that there is no problem with https://mail.windows.com/owa access. Open the DNS manager in AD and create a new A record in the forward lookup area-- domain name.

Then enter the name and IP address. Because of the high availability of the frontend in my environment, I wrote the VIP of NLB directly. If the frontend is not highly available, you need to enter the IP of the frontend server (create as many A records as there are frontend servers).

Open the web page, enter https://mail.windows.com/owa to access, OK, successfully open

Enter the ECP management interface, navigate to the server-virtual directory, select OWA, and click Edit.

Modify internal and external access URL

Open the IIS manager of the front-end server

Navigate to the Server Name-- website-- Default Web Site, and double-click HTTP to redirect

You can redirect this directory without setting all the subitems.

The website requires SSL

After the setup is complete, when we log in to OWA, all we have to do is enter https://mail.windows.com.
