Problem description

The iTop training system is deployed in the enterprise intranet, and the A record is added to the intranet DNS to achieve access through http://itop.pushits.com.

Through domain name access, you can normally access the home page and log in:

Once you click on the internal link of the system (such as the Welcome in the figure above), the domain name and address will automatically switch to localhost and require you to log in again:

Analysis of problems

This is because when we install and configure the iTop system, we set the access url of iTop to localhost (of course, we can plan ahead. When installing and configuring, we can directly enter the required domain name at Server name to avoid this problem):

The domain name can be resolved to the iTop server, but once the internal link is accessed, the default localhost is used. So what we need to do is to change the default access url of iTop to the domain name itop.pushits.com.

Operation steps

1. Modify approoturl parameters

In iTop, under Admin tools-configration, change APP root url from localhost to itop.pushits.com:

Access through the domain name on the client computer and click the internal link, and url still uses the modified itop.pushits.com domain name:
