Step 1 Login

This is because admin has got the Endpoints of each Service from Keystone.

Step 3 displays the image list

Click "Images" and a list of image will be displayed

These things are going on behind it:

First, admin sends the request to Glance's Endpoint

Glance asks Keystone about the validity of the admin identity.

Next Glance will look at / etc/glance/policy.json. Determine whether admin has permission to view image

The permission is determined, and Glance sends the image list to admin.

Troubleshoot

OpenStack troubleshoots problems mainly through logs. Each Service has its own log file.

Keystone has two main logs: keystone.log and keystone_access.log are stored in the / var/log/apache2/ directory.

Devstack's screen window has opened these two logs for us.

If you need the most detailed log information, you can turn on the debug option in / etc/keystone/keystone.conf

In a non-devstack installation, the logs may be in the / var/log/keystone/ directory.
