SharePoint Online development: create a new theme with the color palette

After we use SharePoint Color Palette's tools to create a cool new or modify a color palette, how can we put it on our site as a theme? To create a new website theme and apply it to a specific website?

First, we need to store the palette files and background images on our website before we can centrally process them. By default, they are stored in the Theme Gallery library to record the URL of the palettes and background images.

Go to the Composed Looks page of the website:

Https://mvptrainingcn.sharepoint.com/sites/site name/_catalogs/design/AllItems.aspx

Get the URL of a master page, such as a seattle.master, and create a new theme:

We do not consider the font scheme here, we will further introduce it later, we need to note that the Display Order in the above image is the order in which the theme is displayed on the "change appearance" page, if you want to be at the front, you can modify the corresponding number and save it.

Going back to the site settings page, you can select a new theme by modifying the appearance settings.

Note: you can also download the Color palette and open it in any editor to modify it. After the change is complete, you can save it as another name, and then upload it to Theme Gallery.
