Lync Server server version upgrade

There are a lot of POC environments that work well, and then directly apply POC environments to production environments. However, this means that the version of Lync Server needs to be upgraded from the evaluation version to the enterprise version.

The Lync Server image now licensed in Microsoft Volume Licensing Center is required first. Mount the downloaded official version image on the front-end server in the POC environment. Open Lync Command Line Tool on Lync Front End Server to view existing versions of Lync Server

Get-CsServerVersion

Then type the following command, noting that Server.msi is located on your official CD (you need to switch the running directory to the folder where Server.msi is located).

msiexec. exe/fvomus server.msi EVALTOFULL=1 /qb Finally, enter the following command to enable the computer.

Enable-CsComputer View results using the command

Get-CsServerVersion

It should be noted that if the RC version is used, then it does not support upgrading to the official version.
