VS2015 compiles Live555 streaming media server

Scene

Use Live555 to simulate IPC to transmit RTSP video streams, and then use VLC to play h364

Prepare for

Live555-latest.tar.gz: download URL http://www.live555.com/liveMedia/public/

Steps

1) modify win32config file

A. TOOLS32 = c:\ Program Files\ DevStudio\ Vc change to TOOLS32 = TOOLS32 = C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\ VC (your vs directory)

B. LINK_OPTS_0 = $(linkdebug) msvcirt.lib changed to LINK_OPTS_0 = $(linkdebug) msvcrt.lib

2) copy the Win32.Mak and NtWin32.Mak files to several modules in the Live555 directory. VS2015 is currently installed on disk C in the following directory

C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Microsoft SDKs\ Windows\ v7.1A\ Include

3) start Visual Studio Command Prompt (2015) and enter the Live555 library

4) execute genWindowsMakefiles.cmd

5) enter the liveMedia directory and execute nmake-f liveMedia.mak

Enter the other directories in the Live555 directory in turn, execute the corresponding mak files, and then compile the libraries and executable programs of different functional modules.

6) the directory where the Rtsp server is located is in the mediaServer directory. Copy an h364 streaming file to the current directory, and then start live555MediaServer.exe

The video can be played smoothly by entering url:rtsp://192.168.0.107/smoke.264 through the VLC player.
