Inter-vlan routing multilayer switch

Inter-VLAN routing:

-Multilayer switch

1. Configure the gateway IP

Interface vlan 10 / / configure the gateway IP for vlan 10

No shutdown

Ip address 192.168.10.254 255.255.255.0

Interface vlan 20

No shutdown

Ip address 192.168.20.254 255.255.255.0

Interface vlan 30

No shutdown

Ip address 192.168.30.254 255.255.255.0

The concept of gateway is interface.

2. Enable routing function

GW (config) # ip routing

3. Configure the cascade link between the multilayer switch and the ordinary switch.

GW (config) # interface fas0/3

GW (config-if) # switchport trunk encap dot1q

GW (config-if) # switchport mode trunk

SW1 (config) # interface fas0/3

SW1 (config-if) # switchport mode trunk

4. Verification and testing

GW# show ip interface brief

GW# show ip route

GW# show interface trunk

Note:

Any VLAN corresponds to a SVI (switched virtual port)

The gateway IP address of all member hosts in the VLAN is the SVI

IP address configured for the port

SVI:switch virtual interface
