1.1. Topology introduction

All the service roles in the Skype for Business product deployment architecture described in this document adopt a high availability structure. In the front-end pool, there are 3 front-end servers loading each other, and 3 back-end SQL servers using SQL image mode. There are 2 persistent chat servers in the persistent chat pool, 2 OWA servers configured with ServerFarm, 2 edge servers in the edge pool, and 2 reverse proxy servers loading each other.

The specific topology is as follows:
