Understanding virtual machine snapshots
1. There is a dependency between the snapshot and the snapshot, and when the dependency between the parent virtual disk and the child virtual disk breaks, the virtual machine does not respond or cannot start.
two。 When the snapshot time is too long, too many snapshots may cause the system blue screen or the client operating system may not be able to boot again.
3. Too many snapshots take up too much disk space and affect the efficiency of the virtual machine (the data of the parent virtual disk and the child virtual disk need to be compared).
4. A snapshot is not a backup and is not recommended as a backup, because in theory a snapshot has only one copy of data.
