Kibana installation and its configuration

1. Download

Https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/kibana/kibana-5.4.3-x86_64.rpm

2. Install and modify configuration

Yum install-y kibana-5.4.3-x86_64.rpm

Grep "^ [a Merz]" / etc/kibana/kibana.yml

Server.port: 5601

Server.host: "10.1.2.189"

Elasticsearch.url: "http://10.1.2.184:9200"

3. Visit

10.1.2.189:5601

View configuration status

Http://10.1.2.189:5601/status

4. Configure regular matching

Configure the following regular match in the Management menu of the console:

5. Collect system logs

1) modify the configuration file first

Vim / etc/logstash/conf.d/system.conf

Input {

File {

Path = > "/ var/log/messages"

Type = > "systemlog"

Start_position = > "beginning"

Stat_interval = > "2"

}

}

Output {

Elasticsearch {

Hosts = > ["10.1.2.184VR 9200"]

Index = > "logstash-systemlog-% {+ YYYY.MM.dd}"

}

}

2) check whether the configuration file is wrong

/ usr/share/logstash/bin/logstash-f / etc/logstash/conf.d/system.conf-t

When Configuration OK appears, there is no problem with the configuration.

Modify the permissions of the log file, otherwise an error will be reported when collecting

Chmod 644 / var/log/messages

3) regular matching is the same as above

[logstash-systemlog]-YYYY.MM.DD
