Spring Tool Suite

Spring Tool Suite is a tool for developing Spring applications based on the Eclipse IDE development environment, providing an out-of-the-box environment for implementing, debugging, and deploying your Spring applications, including integrated support for key server and cloud computing, Git, Maven, AspectJ and the latest Eclipse versions.

There are two ways for Eclipse to integrate Spring Tool Suite plug-ins, one is online installation and the other is local installation, the two methods are more or less the same. Here, take the local installation as an example.

Install Spring Tool Suite on Eclipse

First, go to the official website to download the plug-in at http://spring.io/tools/sts/all

Download the plug-in package:

These are plug-in packages corresponding to the Eclipse version, so you need to know the version of your Eclipse in advance and open Eclipse,Help → About Eclipse.

As you can see from the picture above, the corresponding version of my Eclipse Platform is Version 4.7.

If you choose to install the compressed package, click to download the corresponding installation package, and the compressed package can be unzipped or unzipped. If you choose the link download, copy the link first, and then Help → Install New Software.

Then type http://dist.springsource.com/release/TOOLS/update/e4.7/ in Work with, enter and wait for a moment.

Select a single next with IDE. Restart eclipse after completion
