Specify a reliable external time source for the domain controller
Query the time source used by the current domain controller
W32tm / query / source
The default is time.windows.com. You can try ping. If it doesn't work, consider switching to another NTP server.
Open the registry and find the following location
"NTPserver under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ Services\ W32Time\ Parameters enter the NTP server address that you can use.
You can find a suitable NTP server at the following website and try PING before using it.
Restart the w32tm service after the changes are completed
Net stop w32time
Net start w32time
Query the time source again, w32tm / query / source
At this point, it has been changed to the NTP server you set up.
Note: if Group Policy is also enabled to synchronize time, make sure that Group Policy is not applied to the host where PDC (or DC if all roles are on one host) resides. Otherwise, the server synchronized using w32tm / query / source query will show that it is using Local cmos clock.
