The solution to break through the limit of 1080 Resolution of HDMI-HDTV

A feature of the N card is that it is possible to connect the monitor with an HDMI-HDTV cable. Although your monitor is not a TV device, it is regarded as a TV device by N card, and the resolution limit is 1080p.

Obviously, the 1080p resolution is not enough for today's monitors, so you can use the custom resolution in the NVIDIA control panel to change the resolution to solve this problem.

1. Open the NVIDIA control panel, find the display in the left menu bar-change the resolution, and you can see that the default resolution here is 1080p.

2. Because the monitor I use is a 2K screen with a resolution of 2560X1080, click Custom-create Custom Resolution-change horizontal Pixel to 2560m-Vertical Resolution to 1080m-Click Test-Test OK, and the screen looks normal.

3. The resolution after the completion of the test will appear in the custom. Now select the custom 2560X1080 resolution and the monitor will be used normally.
