How can I see the success of cdn acceleration? If you ping the same website in different regions, whether the IP you can view is the same or different. If it is different, the cdn acceleration is successful.

For example, we test that the ip of www.west.cn in Chengdu is 211.149.162.171, while that of ip in Guangdong is 121.201.3.188. If you ping the same URL in different regions like this and get different IP addresses, then you can judge that the site has enabled CDN acceleration.

If the website does not have CDN enabled, the Ping URL in different regions is the real address of the website server. If CDN acceleration is enabled, the content of the website will be cached to the nearest server in each region, so accessing IP will change. According to this principle, it is easy to judge whether the website has CDN enabled.

So how do you ping the same URL in different regions? We can use some third-party tools, such as chinaz's website speed test, 360 cloud test, to measure the parsing IP of the same website across the country, and the corresponding ping value, you can clearly see the time it takes to open the website in different regions, and you can also see the speed of the website.

If only the images of the site are accelerated by cdn, then the method of ping URL will be invalid, and you can compare it before and after by monitoring the website access speed, download speed and so on.
