Standard cabinet size table

U is a unit that represents the external size of a server and is an acronym for unit. The detailed size is determined by the American Electronic Industry Association (EIA), an industry group. The reason for setting the size of the server is to keep the server in the right size so that it can be placed on an iron or aluminum rack. There is a screw hole for the fixed server on the rack so that it can be numbered with the screw hole of the server, and then fixed with screws to facilitate the space needed to install each server. The specified dimensions are the width (48.26cm=19 inches) and height (multiples of 4.445cm) of the server.

A rack that meets this requirement is sometimes called a "19-inch rack" because it is 19 inches wide. The thickness is based on 4.445cm, and 1U is 4.445cm.
