Meta's Messenger is one of the most popular instant messaging applications in the world, relying on the absolute popularity of Facebook. The Messenger application does a lot of right things to achieve this popularity, but it also has some deliberately set limitations. For example, it seems strange that text formatting cannot be used on mobile clients. If you want to fix some Messenger quirks and add a lot of functionality to your Android application, try the Messenger ProXposed module.

The Messenger Pro of Mino260806, a XDA member, is a Xposed module that contains various modules for adding and extending functionality to official Messenger applications. Significant features of this module include support for common text formats the ability to attach any files and confirmation dialogs before calling.

The complete list of features added by the application is as follows:

Message format. Note that it does not currently support nested items. Supported tokens:

* bold * → bold

! Italics! → italics

_ underline _ → underline

-cross it out.-→, cross it out.

You can attach any file. You can even attach images, and their quality will not be degraded (but not previewed!).

Automatically add watermarks to any images you send.

Display a confirmation dialog box before calling someone to prevent an accidental call.
