Studio Display contains as much storage space as iPad iPhone 11
A developer found that Apple's Studio Display contains 64GB storage space, which means that its storage and processor specifications are the same as those of the 9th generation iPad and iPhone 11.
It is not announced at the Apple event and is not listed in the technical specifications of Apple, but the new Studio Display has built-in 64GB storage space.
However, as Twitter user Khaos Tian discovered, the actual storage space used is only about 2GB.
Studio Display uses the same A13 bionic processor as the 9th generation iPad and iPhone 11. Both devices start with the same 64GB capacity.
It's not surprising that the monitor needs storage, as it does run the A13 bionic processor and iOS 15.4. This allows the display to include functions such as the center stage of the webcam.
But 64GB is even more surprising. Apple is unlikely to plan to use storage space for more functionality-although 64GB does match the highest capacity of the Apple TV 4K. More likely, it is related to economies of scale, and manufacturing it with less storage space will lead to production changes.
Costian's tweet listed the capacity of the Studio Display, which was first discovered by Consomark.
