Apple reveals the cost of screen replacement outside the warranty period of iPhone 12

A few days ago, Apple officially ended the packaging of the iPhone 12 series of smartphones and entered a new 5G era, as all four models launched by the company support 5G communications.

Although the tech giant's smartphones offer an one-year limited warranty, they do not include accidental damage. The most vulnerable part of the phone is the display or screen. As a result, the company officially disclosed the screen replacement cost of the newly launched iPhone 12 model.

Apple has confirmed that iPhone 12 costs $279 for screen repairs in the United States, the same as the iPhone 12 Pro. In China, the company will charge 2149 yuan, or about $321.

So far, the company has not disclosed screen replacement or maintenance costs for iPhone 12Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max variants.

However, if you buy an AppleCare protection plan, it can pay for the screen repair, and you only need to pay a $29 service charge. The IPhone 12 and 12 Mini models sell for $149and the Pro model sells for $50. All one-time AppleCare programs offer a two-year warranty.
