Foreword:
1. Serv-U passive (passive mode)
Command port: 21
Data port: 20 and other ports (default is random port, which can be set manually)
2. Serv-U Active (active mode)
Command port: 21
Data port: 20
Application situation
1. Both the server and the client turn on the firewall and adopt passive mode
Server: firewall opens 20-21 and other ports (manual settings such as 50020-50029)
2. Both the server and the client turn on the firewall and adopt active mode
Server: firewall opens ports 20-21
Client: firewall releases port 20-21 on the server side
Server operation steps
1. To create a new domain, follow the prompts
2. Follow the prompts to create a new user, password, select ip, port, and authorize home directory permissions
3. Set passive data port (e.g. 50020-50029)
4. Open the firewall-Advanced Settings-inbound rules, and add local ports: 20-21 and 50020-50029
