Erlang OTP installation steps

Note: the version of Erlang OTP is 19.3 Magi Windows 7 32-bit operating system.

Erlang OTP is a compiled environment for RabbitMq. To use RabbitMq, you must first install Erlang OTP.

1. Download the esl-erlang_19.3 version at https://www.erlang-solutions.com/resources/download.html

two。 To start the installation, double-click the downloaded exe to enter the following interface:

3.Next, proceed to the next step. If necessary, change the address of the installation directory, otherwise proceed directly to the next step, as shown in the following figure:

4.Next, install it directly by Install, as shown in the following figure:

5. Wait for the installation to finish, as shown below:

6. When you are finished, click Close to close the interface, as shown below:

7. Start configuring environment variables and enter the environment variable configuration interface, as shown in the following figure:

8. Start adding the environment variable, add the system variable name ERLANG_HOME, and its value is its installation directory (D:\ Program Files\ erl8.3), as shown in the following figure:

9. Add the environment variable ERLANG_HOME to path (note: at the end, be sure to be separated by an English semicolon), as shown in the following figure:

10. Verify that Erlang OTP is installed successfully, reopen the cmd window, and enter: erl. If the version number of Erlang is displayed, the installation is successful, as shown in the following figure:

At this point, the Erlang OTP installation is complete!
