Since SharePoint needs to install SQL Server, here we use a separate server to install the SQL Server service.

Note: if you are installing SQL Server 2014, you need to upgrade to CU6.

In this tutorial, I use the SQL Server 2016 Enterprice version

precondition

1.1 install system patches

1.2 install JDK

Install SQL Server 2016

Select a new installation

Enter the product key

Select all features

Default case name, no need to change

Default configuration, no need to change

Default service configuration, no need to change

Select Windows authentication and SQL authentication

Analysis service adds current user authorization

Report service default configuration, no need to change

Add current user authorization

Set controller name

Accept the agreement

Start installation

Installation completed
