EK cooperates with MSI to launch Quantum MSI MPG X570S Carbon EK X motherboard
EK and MSI are working together again to launch a new motherboard. The EK-Quantum MSI MPG X570S Carbon EK X motherboard uses the EK-Quantum CPU module, which is an out-of-the-box water-cooled motherboard for AMD Ryzen processors.
With a 1402 dual-rail power system with 75A power levels, users will be able to take their AMD Ryzen processors to the extreme. In order to deal with overheating, the integrated flow indicator of EK monomer can effectively cool CPU and VRM.
The whole base is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, and the top is made of acrylic cast glass material processed by CNC, partially covered with carbon fiber pattern. The motherboard is pre-installed with nickel-plated brass screw-in bracket for easy installation.
At the top of the block, there is also a black anodized aluminum sheet covering the RGB lighting solution and the corresponding hot spots, providing a uniform lighting distribution. When connected to the motherboard through a 3-pin 5V addressable D-RGB LED connector, MSI Mystic Light can be used to configure RGB lighting.
The Quantum MSI MPG X570S Carbon EK X motherboard supports DDR4 memory up to 5300MHz and up to 4 M.2 drives cooled by MSI's M.2 Shield Frozr solution. There is also a 2.5G LAN port, Bluetooth 5.2e, Wi-Fi 6e and 8 SATA ports. In addition, there are 5 USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, 8 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, and 6 USB 2.0 ports on the rear board as internal connectors.
Along with the motherboard, EK bundles an EK- leak tester (valued at 34.90 euros) to test for any leaks after completing your custom cycle. The Quantum MSI MPG X570S carbon EK X motherboard is now available for pre-order and the price is $549.90. Shipments of these motherboards are expected to begin on September 6.
