ESXI6.7 installation and precautions

First, install ESXI

1) load the bootstrap

2) accept the agreement

3) Click to continue

4) choose the disk used to store the ESXI operating system, not randomly, but according to the planned one.

5) Click to continue

6) enter the password to log in to ESXI. The account name defaults to root, which is used to log in to the virtual machine and ESXI interface.

7) Click to continue

8) Press F11 to start the installation

9) restart the ESXI host and exit the installation image

2. Configure ESXI

1) press F2 and enter the password to log in to the ESXI host

2) enter the network configuration interface of ESXI

3) Select IPv4 configuration

4) configure ESXI IP information

6) closing IPv6 may cause errors in DNS parsing in some cases, so turn it off if you don't need it.

5) set DNS

6) Select Yes

7) Test whether the configuration is successful

8) success

9) press ESC to exit and save. If the shutdown IPv6 is configured, the server will be restarted, which requires attention in a production environment.
