Meizu's 17th rendering hides the front camera in the status bar.

Meizu's obsession with symmetry has spawned elaborate smartphone designs, such as the ultra-thin Meizu 16s Pro. However, the company's pursuit of zero borders may have reached a new breakthrough. According to the 17th rendered image of Meizu shared by Weibo, there may be a small front camera on the phone's display screen, which can be seen clearly.

The top frame of the Meizu 16s Pro has a front camera, making it slightly thicker. However, in the new Meizu 17 rendering, the front camera is placed between the icons in the status bar. It looks like a non-invasive design, with a miniature front camera stacked next to the network and battery icons on the status bar.

We see a very small front camera sensor installed on the Vivo S1 display. Therefore, Meizu can adopt a similar strategy to make the rendering effect a reality. Because of the new position of the camera, the upper and lower borders are very thin, increasing the ratio of the screen to the fuselage. The rendering also shows the screen fingerprint solution on the front. There are three cameras on the back and a circular flash at the bottom.

I would also like to add that this is probably a fan rendering of Meizu 17. We see another rendering of a completely different design (it has a curved display).
